The Zoe Cat does not travel well. Particularly in a cat carrier. Can we say car sick? However, she needs to travel in the car more right now since she was diagnosed last month with feline diabetes (a story for another time). We have to go to the vet every 2 weeks until the blood sugar levels come down. I’d been letting her ride loose in the car, which means on my lap, to avoid the carrier problem. This did not seem like a good long term plan so I’ve just gotten the Zoe Cat a booster seat. Check it out. There’s a little short leash that you clip to her harness. She didn’t really like it per se but she didn’t get sick either when we went to the vet last Friday.

air resistance works on surface area not densitiy, think about it this way if you had a feather and a small stone which would hit the ground first (the stone), now imagine you had two ping pong balls but we filled one up with cement, then which would hit the ground first?. . Both the ping pong ball would hit the ground at the same time. This is because they both have the same amount of surface area, so the amount of air resistance is the same, where as with the feather and the stone the feather had far more surface to push through the air and get slowed down with. . . hope that helps

Dear Stacey, Joe and Baby John,
I am forwarding your prayer request to our prayer chain here in St. Mary’s in Corvallis, OR., and around the world too! There a Dominican Sister in Portugal, a prayerful woman in Australia, a friend in Hawaii and yet another in Canada. Our Parochial Vicar is going down to Argentina to visit his community and they will definitely pray for both mommy and daddy and for little John. Other friends across the U.S.A. will be praying as well. Your determination to follow God’s plan is so beautiful and inspiring. We are knocking on the door; we are asking God will answer.
God bless you, all three of youwe love you from a distance,
Shirley Twining
