			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s official. I&#8217;m now a non-degree grad student at Penn State. I hope this time to be a grad student for longer than a single class! I think that it&#8217;s much more likely because Penn State has a distance education program in Acoustics. I can get a Master of Engineering in Acoustics while staying right here in Massachusetts. That&#8217;s very exciting because I had pretty much given up on the idea of being able to do grad work in acoustics. There just aren&#8217;t that many programs and there&#8217;s only one local one (at BU). And that one is full-time only, which is not an option for me. So this is great but intimidating all at the same time. Better start brushing up on my differential equations&#8230;</p>
