I’m now a non-degree grad student at Penn State. I hope this time to be a grad student for longer than a single class! I think that it’s much more likely because Penn State has a distance education program in Acoustics. I can get a Master of Engineering in Acoustics while staying right here in Massachusetts. That’s very exciting because I had pretty much given up on the idea of being able to do grad work in acoustics. There just aren’t that many programs and there’s only one local one (at BU). And that one is full-time only, which is not an option for me. So this is great but intimidating all at the same time. Better start brushing up on my differential equations…
