So recently I lost my radio antenna off my Golf.
I thought it happened during a recent storm as I said here. Well, it was found by Tom as he was walking up the Mountain. He kindly left it in my mug of writing implements. Too funny.

Pink Polka

This just makes me giggle. Pink Polka is a band out of Toledo that does polka covers of Pink Floyd songs. I really like “Another Brick in the Wall”.
According to Google Maps (via Google Earth Blog), by swimming across the Atlantic to France and then crossing the Channel.
That said, I think it’s hilarious. Especially the soundtrack.
The Coin Machine

I know that it just further indicates that I am easily amused but I love the coin machine. You dump all that change in and try and push it down that little slot and it clicks and whirs away. And then says “You have a lot of coins! Please wait for us to catch up.” I am very entertained by this and I only get to this every 3 years or so (when the coin containers get really full). So I went to CoinStar last night with 3 different containers from home and work including a wine jug that I’ve been dumping pennies in since I was in college. I did the jug first because I wanted to know just how many pennies were in there. There were 2793 pennies. That’s a whole lot of pennies. Total it broke down like this:
- 0 dollars
- 0 half dollars
- 36 quarters
- 304 dimes
- 247 nickels
- 3406 pennies
For a grand total of $85.81, which I took on an Amazon.com giftcard (you get all your money if you take it on a giftcard and not in cash). It’s the little things in life.

So you know those Geico ads with the caveman? If you find those at all amusing, you have got to check out this website that goes with it, http://www.cavemanscrib.com/. It’s got a lot of Flash content and takes a bit to load but it’s absolutely worth it. Make sure to scan your mouse over everything. There’s a ton of stuff to click and look at more closely.
